  • Verb Conjugation and Usage: Students must correctly use verbs like 'drink,' 'go,' 'work,' 'play,' 'speak,' 'leave,' 'live,' 'eat,' and 'have' in present tense sentences. This tests their understanding of subject-verb agreement and basic verb forms.
  • Question Formation and Short Answers: Learners practice forming questions using 'does' and 'do' and providing short affirmative or negative answers ('Yes, he does,' 'No, I don't').
  • Negative Sentence Construction: The exercise focuses on constructing negative sentences using 'doesn't' or 'don't' with appropriate pronouns (he, she, they).
  • Question Word Usage: Students create questions using question words like 'What,' 'Who,' 'Does,' 'Do,' 'When,' and 'Where,' demonstrating understanding of their meanings and correct placement in a question.
  • Reading Comprehension: The reading passage describes the daily routines of a retired couple. Comprehension is tested by identifying whether statements about their habits refer to 'he,' 'she,' or 'they.'
  • Days of the Week: Learners demonstrate their knowledge of the days of the week by writing them in the correct order.
  • Adverbs of Frequency: The exercise involves using adverbs of frequency ('usually,' 'sometimes,' 'never') to describe how often someone performs certain actions, and then writing sentences based on the filled table.
  • Telling Time: Students demonstrate their ability to tell time by writing out the time displayed on analog clocks.
